Account Information
Your name and email address when you create an account.
Your Content
Posts, comments, mood entries, and workshop responses you voluntarily create on the platform.
Usage Data
Pages viewed, features used, and general interaction patterns to help us improve the app.
Technical Data
IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system for security and compatibility.
What we access and why
Microphone — Not Required
Embvrace does not request microphone access. Voice input is not a feature of this app.
Audio Playback
We use your device's audio output to play guided meditation voice-overs (via ElevenLabs text-to-speech) and ambient sounds. No audio data is recorded or stored.
Notifications — Optional
We may request permission to send in-app notifications for community activity. You can manage this in your device settings at any time.
Local Storage
We store your language preference and ambient sound presets locally on your device using browser storage. This data never leaves your device.
Third-Party AI Provider
The Coping Strategy Coach is powered by OpenAI, processed through the Base44 platform. When you chat with the Coach, your data is transmitted to OpenAI to generate responses.
What Data Is Sent
- The messages you enter in the Coach
- Your selected language
- Relevant conversation context (prior messages in the same conversation)
- Your mood check-in entries, when available
Your conversation is associated with your account on the Base44 platform. Device and diagnostic data is not transmitted to the AI service.
Why This Data Is Used
This data is sent to OpenAI solely to generate personalized educational and emotional-support responses. The Coach provides educational and emotional support — not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency care.
Your Consent
Before your first Coach interaction, the app asks for your explicit consent. No data is sent to OpenAI until you choose "Agree and Continue." You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → AI Coach Privacy. Withdrawing consent immediately stops all future data transmission to the AI service and disables the Coach until you grant consent again.
Messages you send to the Coach are transmitted to OpenAI and are processed according to OpenAI's privacy and data policies. They are not private to your device.

AI Features
When you use AI-powered workshops, your responses are sent to our AI provider to generate insights. This content is not used to train AI models and is subject to our provider's privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data.
We may share information only to:
- Comply with legal obligations or lawful requests
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Embvrace or its users
- Operate the platform through service providers bound by confidentiality agreements
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to:
- Access and receive a copy of your personal data
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Export your data in a portable format
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Children's Privacy
Embvrace is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
